Michael Moody is a Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Aitor Canup. He is a Navy veteran who has be practicing the Art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for a little over 9 years. Michael is originally from Tallahassee, FL and is currently married with two children.

Tony Rains is a Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu under Aitor Canup and a US Navy veteran. He served two overseas deployments on a destroyer as a radar and communication tech. Originally, from Florida, he is married with three grown children.
Coach Ashley
Purple Belt
Ashley began her martial arts journey at age 4 at age 12 she was introduced to Jiu Jitsu and shortly after to Muay Thai. Due to school, she has been able to train at a few different gyms. She began her training at FTW lake Norman a Royce Gracie school in 2014 where she later received her blue belt in 2019 and began helping coach children’s classes before leaving for college at Elon University leading her to begin training at Gracie Burlington. Additionally, She has had the opportunity to train in Spain at Gracie Barra, a Carlos Gracie school for 6 months and has helped coach kids’ classes in Spain. Aside from coaching, she runs the MMA club at Elon and she loves to compete in tournaments, especially in the Gi!
